Welcome to Alamo

Location

Named after its Poplar Trees, population wise Alamo is the smallest town in the East Bay with residents whom care deeply about preserving its small town charm. Designated as an unincorporated community, Alamo does not have its own Government. With Walnut Creek just to the North, residents have the best of both worlds, small town living with the convenience of top rated restaurants, extensive shopping options and BART within a few minutes drive. It's no wonder many; Professional Athletes, Fortune 500 CEOs, Congresswomen, Famous Musicians and Olympians have called Alamo home.

Population: 14,570

Real Estate

If Estate size homes are what you seek, look no further! One of the most sought after and expensive communities in the East Bay, many of Alamo's homes are often situated on lots which are a half acre (or larger) and commonly enjoy views of Mount Diablo and/or the adjacent Oak Tree studded rolling hills. Many of the numerous luxury communities have homes 4,000 square feet and larger. Similar to Danville, Alamo has a section affectionately known as the "Westside" which is just steps away from the popular Iron Horse Trail.
